Request a HIP Rating
Use this form to commission a Generic or Verified HIP Rating. We will confirm scope and issue a formal invoice within 3 working days of your submission. Certification and the HIP Mark licence (where eligible) are released on payment confirmation.

The Verified HIP Rating is the only route to the HIP Mark licence. A Generic Rating is suitable for internal benchmarking and ESG reporting but does not licence the Mark.
Early adopter discount (30%, first 5 customers) is available until 15 May 2026 and will be applied to your invoice if you are among the first five customers.
What to submit
- Company and product details — legal entity name, brand name, product name and SKU
- Product category — for example, "cordless drill" or "stainless steel water bottle"
- Rating type requested — Generic or Verified (or a subscription plan)
- Contact details — the person responsible for the submission
You do not need a complete evidence dossier at this stage. If you are unsure whether your data is sufficient for a Verified Rating, submit what you have — we will confirm requirements before you commit.

Prefer email? Write to hello@resourcehip.com with the subject line "HIP Rating Request" and include your company name, product name, and rating type. We will respond within 3 working days.
What happens next
- Submission — you submit product details via the form or by email.
- Scoping confirmation — we confirm the rating type, fee, and any evidence required (1–3 working days).
- Invoice issued — we send a formal invoice with 30-day payment terms. Bank transfer / BACS details and a card payment option are included.
- Evidence submission — for a Verified Rating, we send you a full evidence template; you return the completed dossier at your convenience.
- Assessment — your product is scored against all seven HIP dimensions. You receive a full dimension breakdown with written rationale.
- Certification and HIP Mark — on payment confirmation, the rating is published on resourcehip.com and the HIP Mark licence is issued (for Verified Ratings scoring 6.0 or above).
Payment
Invoices are payable within 30 days of issue by:
- Bank transfer / BACS — bank details are included on each invoice
- Card / online payment — a Stripe payment link is included on each invoice as a convenience option
Certification is not released until payment is confirmed. There is no need to pay before assessment begins; the invoice is raised at submission and payment can follow once the rating is complete.
